Squish, squash went the slimy sand between my frozen toes as I dragged my feet along the west coast beach. I was all alone, suddenly I heard a sound. I looked up , it was only the trees crackling in the crisp autumn breeze. I turned back and looked again, there was a train. I have to get out of this place I thought to myself. My feet are aching like mad, my eyes are stinging from the salty sea water. Still I am determined to get to that train. Run,run, run! I am behind the old rusty black carriage. I have to time this jump right or that will be the end of me.'' come on I can do it''. I sprang forward onto the train like a dolphin leaping out of the water. I was hanging onto the back of the train like a limpet stuck on a rock. After four long tiring hours on the top of the freezing train, I spotted my house. I was looking desperately for a spot were the train would slow down. I looked right and left and then saw a sharp corner in the darkness. When the train got to the corner I knew that I had to jump or I wouldn't be getting off for a while. I leaped from the train, I began to roll as I hit the ground. As I stopped rolling I got up and dusted myself off and ran like mad to my house. When I got to the door I could smell Dad's eggplant dish waiting for me.
